(Bloomberg) -- The U.K. pound dropped for a second day against the U.S. dollar.
The pound slipped to $1.4875 by 6:09 a.m. in London, from $1.4925 yesterday. It strengthened to 88.02 pence per euro, from 88.31 pence.
